Chapter 5 Eat Her On The Bed

(Ezekiel's POV)

My heart thudded really swift and heavy, the sound reached my eardrums. The moment that little girl, my mate, showed me her neck for me to "eat her", I found myself getting out of control, especially Cadis who resided within me.

Subconsciously, I closed my mouth to her neck as I couldn't help smelling her neck. The fragrant scent of her reached into my heart. My urge to eat her became stronger. But not literally. I wanted to eat her right on the bed and made love with her right this instant. I knew that Cadis felt the same way.

“Hurry, and put your mark on her. Make sure she becomes yours right this instant!” Cadis roared, which was to my expectation as well. I opened my mouth, ready to make her mine, but suddenly, a wild thought entered my mind.

My rational thinking was telling me that this wasn't the right time for that. It would be better if I made her realize first what am I to her before I did something like that which was currently against her will.

And also, this girl looked familiar. I felt like I'd met her somewhere long ago. I wanted us to better know each other first before moving on to something mates should do.

On top of that, something like a mate, something that would likely become my weakness, was something I hesitated about. My enemies would definitely take this chance to have advantage of me, trying their best to strike this very weakness. That was something I really didn't want to happen, especially to my mate. Maybe, when I finished dealing with them, then maybe...

With that in mind, I closed my mouth again. I retracted my head and took a step away from her. As much as I wanted to eat her, this was the best thing and the right thing I should do. I shouldn't hurry.

“What the hell? What are you doing, Ezekiel? Are you crazy?” But I could hear Cadis complaining at me. I could feel his frustration.

"Shut up, I'll reject her now if you make any more noise." I said

"No! You leave her here alone now, she'll get eaten! She doesn't even seem to have a wolf!" Cadis loudly retorted me.

Well, yes, I was the one who made her become alone, and it was indeed too irresponsible to just leave. She looks so weak, it feels like she'll break a bone if she falls to the extent that she does.

" Be quiet! I'll take her back. But there's no way I can accept her, and as you said, she doesn't even have a wolf." That was the last line I had to draw. Take her back and let her join the training. After she can protect herself, then let her go. A pure person like her is not fit to be part of my evil plans...

Cadis went quiet, and it looked like he agreed to my plan.

“You will follow me,” I spoke, trying to remain savage and overbearing.

She opened her eyes and looked at me confused. I could also see relief in that eyes of her.

“You're not going to eat me?” She asked. Her innocent and gentle tone made me regret not eating her.

“Don't get me wrong, little girl.” Still, I restrained my feeling and replied coldly, “I will definitely eat you. But not now.”

I didn't wait for her reply as I carried her in my arms.

“You... What are you doing? Let me go, you bastard!” She struggled, trying her best to break free from me. But with her frail strength against mine? I simply let out a mocking smile and continued to bring her with me. With her in my arms, I rushed my way out of the place.

(Alexa's POV)

No matter what I asked, he didn't bother to speak a single word in response. He wouldn't even spare me a glance as his eyes were fixated far ahead.

Looking closely at him, I could see his gorgeous face that was close to perfection. The scent of him was so captivating that I took pleasure in every sniff of him.

If only he was my mate...

Ugh... Before I could think more of something really crazy, I shook my head to shake away those wild thoughts. And to distract myself from thinking of such wildness, I retracted my gaze away from him. I could feel my cheeks burning hot.With a weak voice of mine, I said, "Where are you taking me? I don't want to go with you!"

To my surprise, I suddenly felt I was falling. I didn't realize what had just happened until a heavy thud echoed next. Before I knew it, I already fell flat on the ground, my butt and back hurting from the impact. And it only took me another moment to realize what had just happened.

“You bastard, why did you suddenly let go of me?!” I screamed at him in resentment. My eyes turned red when I glared at him.

But when I saw him this time, his back was already against me, walking forward unhurriedly. I was about to ignore him and take this chance to run away from him when suddenly...

“Go ahead” Ezekiel spoke with the same nonchalance. He didn't bother to look at me as he added, “You can stay here if you want, but I must warn you that rogue werewolves frequently appear here in this part of the forest. I don't need to explain to you what will happen next if they found a tasty and helpless lady like you here, right?”

“...” Then again, I shuddered from his words. That guy was really good at scaring me. As much as I wanted to ignore his words, I involuntarily swept my gaze in my surroundings, thinking that hidden danger was lurking within the darkness. Just the thought of it made me shiver down my spine.

"Wait!" I called out, struggling to stand up on my own. Afraid that something or someone would suddenly appear to grab and drag me, I threw away all my hesitation and ran after him. “Where is this? Why did you bring me to this creepy place?”

Right now, he was my only lifeline. I needed to clench my teeth and endure it. But it really was funny to think that I was afraid of some random wicked people suddenly appearing to take me yet here I was, following behind the most notorious of all evils.

“Hey, aren't you going to reply?” Seeing that Ezekiel was ignoring me again, I couldn't help but ask. I even grabbed his hair to get his attention. Since he wasn't wearing clothes, I could only pull his long hair if I wanted to get his attention.

But what happened next made my heart skip a beat.

Ezekiel, after I pulled his hair to get his attention, suddenly halted his steps. I bumped into his sturdy body as I had been pushed back afterward.

Only then did I realize how outrageous my action was. Pulling the hair of the most notorious evil to get his attention? Was I out of my mind? Was there anyone in the world who would dare to do what I just did?

A mere thought of it made me swallow a mouthful of saliva. I knew it. This man was definitely pissed after I touched his beautiful hair. I should have known that it was something like his reverse scale. How could I be so careless?

“Sor...” I was just about to apologize when suddenly, Ezekiel cut in.

“Shut Up” His voice was still the same.

Phew!

The next second, he picked me up and jumped easily to the tree.

"Ah..." This is the first time I've ever flown, it's scary!

"Heh, close your eyes if you're scared, be quiet." After saying that, he immediately jumped to a higher tree not far away, and I had to close my eyes tightly and not look at my feet.

But he seemed to forget that he was naked...
