N A T A S H A A N D C A S S I E were walking to school and Cassie was explaining to her on the idea of setting up a secret location for her other life as a speedster when Lucas joined them.
“What are we now, the Famous Five?” Natasha smiled a little and Cassie had to roll her eyes.
“I mean, think about it,” Cassie went on, “that way you can have a go-to point if I dunno...when things go south or something like that.”
“But we're in school like all the time,” lamented Natasha.
“Well, that didn't seem to stop us back when we saved your ass when you were in that burning building.”
“Okay,” Lucas chimed in, “suppose you were to start this ‘team up’. Where would this even be?”
“I’m now beginning to see how lame this is actually,” Cassie spat.

T H E L A S T W E E K of March found Carmen walking into an investigation room with soon-to-be detective Brian Pierce, making that her seventh session at the precinct. She stood next to him and they were looking at a woman seated in the opposite side of the room, through a window. Carmen noticed how her hands had been cuffed over the table and she had hair that was so dark it was probably dyed from its original vague blond or light brunette. She also had dark eyeliner and a tiny ring popping out from her nostrils, dangling slightly above her lips that looked as if they had been smothered in purple ink, giving her a total Gothic look. All of this was an analysis by Carmen; observation being her favorite part of what she had been learning at the precinct as an intern. "So," Carmen began, "what exactly are we looking at?" HELLO EVERYONE! It’s been one hell of a ride in the past couple of weeks, with RISE OF THE DARKFORCE having started back in August 2021. Highschool teen/superhero Natasha Johnson a.k.a the Viper, has gotten into Senior Year with her best friend Cassie and her other friends; Lucas, Carmen, Marcus and Henry. A new kid then joins the class (Xander) and as time progresses, Natasha is already dating him and things are going swell for them except for Lucas who seems not so pleased by this. Carmen has joined the APD internship program that will actually play a vital part in the second half of the story. Carol is missing and Natasha is left alone to protect the city and there seems to be an unkown threat lurking in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike. I N A N U N D I S C L O S E D location, it was dark out, making it all the while harder to clearly define whose house it was but it must have been in the heart of the city. There was a street lamp about a foot away from the house, the little amber light it cast revealing that the house was of two floors, with a dark window on the upper floor. The lamp began to flicker just as a light gale swept a litter of dried leaves across the porch of the house, with some even brushing against the window. With a crackle, the light from the lamp dwindled out, enveloping the area around the house in total darkness, leading up through the window into an even darker room where soft noises of someone breathing could be heard as if they were asleep.
