91- On The Chair

Rayna’s POV:

I spent the night on Alexander's bed, without him. He didn't return at all, nor did he try to contact me.

For me, it was not a peaceful night but still, I was content to stay somewhere that had his scent. In the morning, I was in his room brushing my hair in front of the dresser when a maid entered after a brief knock.

I was hungry and wanted food. There was no point in spending time in Alex's bedroom in his absence.

“Ma'am! His Highness wants your presence at his office,”

Alexander was back? Why didn't he come to the room?

She stepped back, her folded hands in front of her belly, her face bent down in respect. I quickly made a messy bun of my hair and gave myself a final once-over in front of the mirror.

I was wearing comfortable denim shorts along with an off-shoulder crop top.

“Lead the way!”

I asked her and started following her to Alexander’s office. For a moment I felt uncomfortable. His office was a formal place, and I don't think, I was dressed accordingly.
