My hands felt warm in his but his voice was serious,

“I’m glad you want to achieve these things,Rayne. I really am. But you don’t have to start from scratch. You already have all those things. I don’t want you to keep running. Five years is more than enough to run away from your demons, I believe it’s time for you to face them. We both know Starstruck should be yours, I suggest we get it back.”

“But that’s really not what I want. Moreover, Starstruck is more of my dad’s than it is mine. He can do whatever he wants with it and he made it quite clear that he doesn’t want me near it. I don’t think there’s any reason to shake things up right now. I would prefer to just maintain the peace.

“I’ll support any decision you make, but when you change your mind, all you need to do is let me know, and we’ll fight to death, okay?”
