We all turned, following the direction the voice had come from, and there stood the sorceress, the one we had just spoken about. She had a long staff in one hand and an orb in the other. She wore a black gown, with her hair tied in a bun behind her.

She looked so young I could swear she was almost my age, but the voice that had come out of her was terrifying, almost inhuman. Her eyes were fierce, orange like burning fire. Her strange voice now made sense; those were not the real color of her eyes.

"How are you here? How did you get here?" my mother asked, her voice a cocktail of fear and confusion.

Just then the sorceress gently hit the staff on the floor, and her eyes changed color and went back to their usual ones. "I would have come sooner, but I made a stop at two of the locations of the explosions and helped take out our rivals."
