I feel warm hands on my shoulder shaking me awake. I grumble and scrunch my face as I swat it away. The sound of a low chuckle has me tensing for a moment, and I snap my eyes open. Are we there yet?

I stare out the rolled-up window to see it’s around sunset, and then I look the other way to see beautiful, shimmering hazel slate-blues gleaming down at me. My heart literally stops and picks up insanely as unease raids my body, and I look away.
