Xander's POV

I was looking out of the window for a minute when I heard a few coughs coming from that angle and I was a bit surprised.

I felt like something was not right in my chest but I couldn't place the feeling. I had just returned from the hospital and I was still fit to be able to do my jobs. If not for the fact that I was advised to rest at intervals, I would have been out on the field as soon as possible. There was something that was stopping me from being able to work.

I rubbed my chest slightly to get over the knot that had welled in there and was waiting to see what I could get out of my thoughts.

My ship which capsized was also giving me a headache because I had still not recovered from it. It was annoying at the same time stressing me out. I didn't want to talk to anyone about anything. My father was just speculating while I stared at him.
