Chapter 11

Gary had a few moments of lucidity. Sometimes he would remember having sex with that witch and he would be disgusted. Sometimes he remembered his mate, but he couldn't remember his face. He knew he had a pack, but he didn't remember he was an alpha.

Days and nights ran the same way. He moved as commanded, and did not leave the room.

That morning, something different happened. A crow landed on the window and his cawing reminded him that he knew someone who also flew in the sky. It was big and red, and it was important to him, but he couldn't remember who that someone was.

His mind was constantly foggy, as if he lived in a cloud, and when a voice called to him inside his mind, he ignored it, thinking it was a hallucination.
