CHAPTER 4

"Are you really gonna throw me away?" I asked in disbelief as I looked at the chopper in front.

"Guess what? I have decided." He smirked and gently grabbed my arm as I approached the chopper.

"Just a moment, Aldo! Let me say goodbye to my Mother Rosario first! Plus that, you're the one who got satisfied so—"

I stopped after he stopped and met my gaze with his green and silver eyes. The edge of his lips didn't even lift, which gave me the creeps.

"Uh, there might be a few more days before you deport me to the island. I haven't even been able to work yet—"

"That's the point. That's why I'll keep you." He stepped again while he was still pulling me along with him.

"What do you mean?!" I screamed loud enough for him to hear and not be defeated by the noise of the chopper.

I also tried to carefully hold the hem of my white dress while approaching.

"Aldo, you enjoyed what happened! That should be enough to get me off!"

But he didn't answer and just put the headphones on me. My heart almost dropped with nervousness when I got in and as the chopper started moving.

I couldn't even look to the side or down in fear while he was just sitting there calmly. I feel like my eyes are going to spin, and I'm going to feel nauseous. I waved my hand one more time and hit his thigh hard.

When I turned around, his forehead was wrinkled, and he seemed to be looking at me bored.

"I'm dizzy!" I shouted loudly but he didn't seem to hear.

"I'm going to throw up!"

His bored look is definitely not helping me at all.

"Aldo! I think I'm gonna—"

But I didn't finish what I was going to say after he grabbed my neck and captured my lips. My eyes widened as I held tightly to his arm.

I could still feel his tongue running over my lips before he let them go.

"You talked too much," he said as he slightly moved my headphone.

I was silent and tried to catch my breath. I didn't even have the chance to complain after he grabbed my shoulder and rested my head on his chest.

I couldn't help but swallow. I bit my lip as I clung to his hard stomach.

Temptation, get away from me!

But he seemed to be teasing me on purpose and just let me stay in that position. Feeling his chest and abs. If the chopper hadn't landed on the rooftop of a building, he wouldn't have let me go. I wasn't even supported on the way down!

"Aldo! I thought it was an island." I chase after him.

The buildings look very far from the island I thought of.

He stopped walking and gave me a look from his back. His eyebrow arched slightly, which made me step back.

"I still need you." He smirked before meeting the approaching man in a black suit and shades.

"Send her home. Make sure she will not go anywhere unless I say so," he commanded.

I was stunned, but then quickly walked towards him. Intending to protest, and yet the man in black stopped me quickly.

"Aldo! I'm your fiancée!" I tried to pull my arm away from the man, but he only tightened and seemed to intend to cripple me.

"Aldo! I'm your freaking fiancée!"

"And he doesn't fucking care, Ma'am. Shut your mouth and let's leave in peace," he firmly stated.

I was silent and did not answer. I didn't know that bad habits can be inherited even if they are not blood related.  I have no idea that he inherites Aldo's bad attitude!

"Your name?" I asked without a smile.

"Baron, Ma'am," it's a gentle answer.

I grinned, "I don't freaking f*cking care!" I rolled my eyes, and quickly pulled my arm away.

I immediately turned around and stepped forward. I feel like my blood is boiling.

Aldo is not true to his word!

Squealing one more time will not keep the conversation going. Now I want to curse that little box! I still thought that I would be saved, but I ended up being destroyed even more.

"Ma'am, that is not the right way—"

"I know, shut up!" My brows were furrowed as I turned the other way, but there was no door to be seen.

"Uh-ho, that is also not the right way, Ma'am. Please follow me and I'll let the limousine and the chauffer send you home."

I was annoyed and just didn't answer. I closely followed the directions to the small door. It was an elevator directed to the parking lot.

"This way, Ma'am." He even gestured his hand out of the elevator.

I squinted slightly in annoyance, but stopped after seeing the limousine in front of me. Its baby blue color looks so classy and shiny.

I still blink when the chauffeur gets out, matching Baron's outfit. He gestured to the open door. I smiled a little before going inside. And I think I'm going to have a fever when I realize that, with the length of the car, I am the only one on board.

I was speechless and tried to keep quiet until I got home. That's when Alice immediately greeted me.

"Mayu! Woman! "Where that old man hide you?!" She gently pulled my messy hair.

I just shook her hand and ignored her, even though she continued to nag.

"What now? You're pregnant already? That old man got you pregnant?"

I turned around and looked for Mother Rosario in the kitchen, even though Alice was following my movements.

"Your father and mother looked for you! They are even more angry knowing you are not here. I told you, they will only use you!"

With furrowed eyebrows, I went straight to the kitchen. Feeling annoyed at Alice.

"Oh gosh! How I hope you just look for a macho-handsome man! That old man might even have a s*xually transmitted disease!"

I shook my head and stopped listening to her when I saw Mother Rosario busy frying chicken. Her attention was only on the stove, even though she could hear Alice.

"Mom," I said softly as I hugged her from behind.

I gently rested my forehead on her shoulder. Now that I'm home, I feel like I want to regret my decision. If Aldo exiles me to the island, what about my Mother Rosario?

She rubbed my arm that was hugging her stomach, "Your Daddy and Mommy were angry. I told you not to give them any more grudges. If possible, stay away from them, Mayu."

"Yes, Mother Rosario, Mayu should curse those two! They made a child, but can't take care of it!" Alice was pinching the fried chicken already.

"Alice! Stop!" She yelled at Alice before she faced me, "Mayu, go ahead. Rest first." She smiled and fixed my hair.

I went straight to my room and lay down on my bed. I'm trying to decide if I did the right thing. I still need a backup plan! I don't think Aldo is kidding about the threat of throwing me on an island. But it took two weeks before a limousine stopped in front of the house.

"Mayu! Someone wants to fetch you!" Alice was at the door and gave the chauffer a bad look.

"Huh? Why?" I stood next to her but got nervous after seeing the baby blue limousine.

"I don't know! He might kidnap you!" Alice blinked but couldn't take her eyes off the chauffer.

"Mister Aldo Hendrix Castellanos wants you to report to the office, Ma'am." He came closer and simply handed me the paperbag he was carrying in his hand.

"Please, get dressed. Do not make your boss wait, Miss Secretary." He bowed slightly.

"Secretary? You mean, I'm Aldo's secretary?" I pointed myself with disbelief.

"Yes, Ma'am."

My lips parted as I entered the house.  Alice still chased me up to my room.

"You're the secretary? Isn't that Aldo is the old man as well?" She stopped my arm.

"Isn't he?" she repeated.

I almost didn't understand her question, so I just nodded. I'm still afloat that Aldo gave me a job.

"Mayu, you're not a secretary! You're a s*x-ytary then! That's not possible! Let's get rid of the driver—"

"What, Alice? Don't. This is still a job."  I stopped her.

In the end, she had no choice but to let me. She was still trying to get the car to leave. When we got far away, I was struck by nervousness. Maybe later I will be sent straight to the island and not to the office.

But I became even more anxious when I read the name of the building where the limousine stopped.

"Castellanos Empire Realty," I blurted out before getting out of the car.

"Have a nice day, Ma'am," the chauffeur murmured.

I couldn't even answer that and just kept staring at the glass building and its big name in front. My palms are sweaty, and I feel like I'd rather be exiled to the island than be Aldo Hendrix's secretary.

It's more scary to see his sharp eyes every day than to be with the fish on the island.

"Go, Mayu! This is for your name! For acceptance!" I even clenched my palms as encouragement before entering the building.

"Good Morning, Miss. Office of the CEO," I greeted the receptionist.

She immediately raised her eyebrow and looked at my black pencil cut skirt and sweetheart neck pink blouse, which I just topped with a black blazer.

"Name?" she asked, coldly.

"Marion Yuna Sel—"

"Top floor, Miss." She cutted my words, and simply looked back at the computer.

I closed my mouth tightly so that I wouldn't say anything bad, and even though I got pissed off, I just ignored it. I just took the elevator and hit the top floor.

I think all of his employees are like him! This building is covered with evil elements!

As soon as I got out of the elevator, I saw Baron's unsmiling face. He is not wearing a shade, and I can clearly see his impatient eyes.

"This way, Ma'am. They are all waiting in the conference room, but Mister Aldo doesn't want to start unless you are here," his voice was cold.

I think I want to pour joy into the place after seeing some of his other secretaries, who seem like robots when they work. Their head does not even tilt. Only their hands and eyes move.

"Are you sure I'm still in real life?" I asked Baron in a whisper.

He stopped in front of a door before turning to me and saying, "Absolutely yes, Ma'am. And yeah, please get inside and take down notes on everything," he reminded me.

I stopped and stepped into the spacious room even more heavily. As soon as my eyes caught a glimpse of the black clothes, my heart was filled with fear. Worst was when I finally entered the room and met Aldo's deep gaze. He was sitting in front of the table with only a small part of his lips lifted.

He cocked his head a little, which made my eyes wander inside the room. And my eyes almost widened after seeing my biological Daddy and Mommy with my sister Addison and sister Stella at the long table. I was greeted by four sharp eyes.

"Who's this girl, Mister Castellanos?"  asked by the lady with thick red lipstick.

"She's lost. Probably this is not her destination," I heard Mommy's answer, which made my knees weak.

"Maybe she's asking for a little help to at least buy some decent clothes," My sister Addison frowned as she looked at my clothes, "Or maybe, she's applying for—"

But we were stunned at the same time after Aldo simply slammed the expensive cellphone on the long table, creating a deafening noise.

"All of you, shut up!" his voice was low, but sharp at the same time.

And I think that is more terrifying than any scream.

"Just tell us who she is," it was the lady earlier.

I stepped back and was about to go out. I can't handle the shame I am feeling.

But then Aldo spoke, and that made me bow my head and fist my hands, "She's Mayu. She's my..."
