Lexi’s POV

I woke up earlier than I thought I would and a small smile escaped my lips when I thought about Andrei. Walking outside, the house was so silent and for a moment I’d thought that the Volkov’s families had gone back and Andrei had left with them.

My life is back to being horrible after just a few minutes of last night’s laughter.

“Good Morning.” I heard a cheery voice that I recognized from last night greet me from behind and I hurriedly turned to see Andrei standing there with a wide smile.

His hair was a mess and he had no shirt on, which made him a thousand times hotter than he was last night.

“I thought you left—“

“Without saying goodbye to you? I’ll never.” He laughed as he made his way closer to me. My cheeks felt so hot that I didn’t need a soothsayer to tell me that I was blushing.

The butterflies I felt in my stomach increased and I could hear them flapping their wings out of joy as Andrei stopped in front of me.
