(Alex POV)
An alarm ring wakes me from my slumber. I open my eyes and see Ash sleeping face just a few inches from mine. Taken aback, I push my friend off the bed.
"What the hell?! Why did you push me?" Ash complains as he massages his buttocks. I roll my eyes and look towards him, well it's not new for us actually. Ash is a pretty whiny omega who always whine like a stupid kid. But I really don't mind if it's only me not someone else.
"What were you doing beside me?" I ask in a nervous tone but still try to maintain my poker face.
"Sleeping, what else? Duh? Dude, we've been friends for ages and we've often slept beside each other, so what's the deal?" Ash said with huge pout in his face.
'Yes Ash we are best-friend but we are also mates and me and you we both can feel this but still we never talk about this'. I really try hard not to scream this on his face.
"Nothing. Uhhh, nothing, nothing. Anyway, let's go to the conference room already. We have to prepare for the endorsements." I shook my head and try to change subject.
"Oh, didn't you get Tamy message? The conference has been cancelled. They're sending us all home early."
"Really? Why?" I raise my eyebrows and ask to him.
"I don't know; some emergency meeting, I think. Just fix your stuff and let's go home."
"Are you sure?" I hesitate.
"Yes, come on hurry up! So, what do you want to do? We're free for the next three days before Community starts."
"What do you mean? I thought you're meeting your high school Alpha friends this weekend. I'm just going to stay at the condo and sleep." I asked even I am not happy with Ash meeting some other Alpha without me.
"You suck, you know. I told you yesterday that my friends cancelled on me. You're such a forgetful person!"
"I...I guess..."
"Okay, I was thinking we could go to the beach and try some watersports. The last time we went, we just stayed indoors because of the rain."
"Are you sure, it's okay?"
"Of course, just leave everything to me. I'll drive. We can stay at our beach house. You can just sleep in the car. Okay?"
"O-okay..." I say, still unsure of what's happening.
"Great!" Ash puts his arm around my shoulders and drags me out of the classroom.
Why he is acting weird?
Well he is weird.
I shook my head and let him drag around.
End of Alex POV
The weather is actually very nice, with the sun shining brightly amidst clear skies and no cloud in sight. Everything is peacefully quiet on the beach, just like how Alex prefer it."This is nice," Alex mutter under his breath. More than himself to Ash."Yeah it is," Ash says as he puts arm over Alex shoulders. "I rented a jetski for us. I was supposed to rent one for each of us, but the owner said the others have engine problems. I guess we'll have to ride one together."Alex move back and tell him to go ahead, "I know you've been wanting to try riding one for the longest time, so just go ahead. I'll just take some pictures from here.""Ummm, okay. But, after one lap, you're going out to sea with me, okay? Oki, oki, oki?" Ash playfully pleads like he always does to Alex. He's really cute when he does that. Alex thought and just nod and turn his head away, just to hide the smile on his lips.&n
"Wait, aren't we going to talk about what just happened?" Alex demanded.Ash just approaches him, leans in and says, "what's there to talk about? I like you, isn't that enough?", then Ash plants a gentle kiss on Alex nose before nudging him with his golf club.Ash invited Alex to play golf for a bit before we eat dinner, since the Japanese Omakase-style restaurant Ash wants to eat at doesn't open until an hour later. Ash is craving for uni sashimi, and Alex just about down with anything Ash likes to eat, since Ash has very good taste for food.Alex swing my club and hit the ball. It goes far, but it ends up in the bunker. Alex scratch his head, while Ash mockingly claps his hands and exclaims, "not bad, not bad."Ash takes his shot and the ball lands on the green. He glances at Alex with a smirk and Alex fake-kick his buttocks."Ready to lose?" Ash tea
Alex phone vibrates again. He doesn’t look at it. After taking a bath and sleeping for five hours when he got home from their endorsement rounds, he started playing with his PS5. He wanted to drown out his thoughts with the unfolding story of the character in his video game. But if he’s being honest, he still can’t stop thinking about his dream, and how badly he wanted everything to be real. The phone vibrates again…and again and again. This pattern of messages and calls could only be one person. Alex answers the call with palms sweating. He clears his already dry throat before saying, “What do you want?”“Alex, can you help me? I need you to pick me up at my place,” Ash says, frantic.Confused, Alex asks, “I though you’re going on a date? Why do I have to pick you up? Where’s your car? Or your stupid Alpha bot going to
“Enjoy your date!” Alex says in an almost sarcastic tone as Ash gets out of the passenger side of the car.Ash pauses and turns to Alex, “Alex, can you just go in there with me? It’s been a long time since I went on a blind date and I’m really nervous. And you know I am really preety. What I will do if someone try to kidnape?” Ash asked with wide eyes, he really try hard to act innocent.“What are you 12?!” Alex replies in an annoyed tone. Even as an omega Alex is sure Ash can kick anyone ass who try to touch him unwillingly.“No but I am omega so can you please? Come on, you can have all the sushi you want. Just sit close to our table so that you can drag me out of there when things become really awkward.”“You’re really going to walk out from your date? Unbelievable! What do you want me to say?”
Ash POV:-He's really very handsome. His long lashes fluttering and those pink kissable lips slightly puckering every time he exhales as he snores loudly, make him even more adorable when he sleeps. Even he is big bad grumpy Alpha for other's but for me, he is my adorable panda whom I love more than anyone.Even more than myself.I lay down next to him and continue to watch him in his slumber. He looks very peaceful. It seems like it's the only time that he could relax and let go of all the thoughts that seem to be troubling his mind nowadays. I wonder what they are."Tell me what's on your mind. I hope you notice how much I'm missing you right now. We don't get to spend as much time as we did before. Why is that?" I whisper quietly as I brush off strands of hair that have fallen on his face."I know you can also feel it Alex. I know you know we are ma
For as long as Alex can remember, Ash has always been his best friend since he came to college. There are a few constant things in Alex life: his family, this town he's grown up in, and Louis. He had his other friends, of course, but Ash had always been and still was the person that Alex was closest to. Maybe it was due to the fact that they live next to each other, and that, since the first night they'd talked, when he and Ash shared a conversation on their conjoining roofs, they instantly hit off, and a friendship developed. Or maybe it was that Louis was always so cheeky, almost the opposite of Alex, but it complimented Harry's slow and thoughtful way of life perfectly. Either way, it just kind of happened.Twenty-three year old Alex is desperately trying to work out one of his many math problems on his homework when, out of the corner of his eye, a bright light catches his attention. He turns his head, looking out th
The university bell rings, and Alex lets out a relieved sigh."All right, pencils down, everyone!" The teacher calls, announcing the end of the chemistry exam. Alex loves chemistry, but honestly his knowledge is actually quite limited. Even though Ash know about chemistry a lot and is pretty master in it, and often tries to help Alex with his studying, Alex can't seem to memorise things. Ash is a good teacher, but he is also very good-looking. And it's quite distracting."I smashed it!" Seb exclaims cheerfully as he and Alex exit the classroom."Good for you," replies Alex with a smile. "I'm glad this day is over. I'm exhausted.""Me too!" seb nods. "Oh, by the way, are you still coming tomorrow, to practice?""Of course!"See, the town Alex lives in is very small. Probably under 2,000 inhabitants. Everyone knows each other, and they're like a big happy famil
After Alex brushes his teeth, he makes his way to his bedroom, turning off the ceiling light and opting instead for his bedside lamp. He glances at the window and sees no Ash waiting for him outside. He chews on his lip and lies down on his bed, deciding to read a book while he waits for Ash.His mind instantly goes back to the bar incident (as Seb likes to call it) and wonders if his tiny (big) crush on Ash is blinding his thoughts and that Ash didn't mean anything by his pointing finger, or if maybe...He doesn't know. Like, surely Ash did not mean to invite Alex, because he and Alex are just best friends, so it's not like Ash is obliged to invite him...Even though they always do everything together, and they've always gone to the festival together...but this is different.But... Alex wants to go to the party with Ash.The sudden realisation hits him. Fuck, he wants to tell Ash everything. Tell him about his little crus
