Chapter 14 ' A THREAT '

Izzy's POV 

"This movie sucks, " Kayleigh snorted. I went to meet her. She just lost her mission. So her boss was going all bitchy on her. 

She was in a bad mood. So I decided to accompany her. 

My phone rang. I didn't recognize the number. It's strangely familiar. Anyways I picked.

"Hello?" I said but nobody replied. 

"Anybody there?" I spoke again but still dead silence on the other side. So I decided to just cut it. It could be a spam call. 

But after a few minutes, I received it again. Same number. 

"Hello?" I said.

"Well, I thought you saved my number " the voice on the other side gave me shivers. 

"What do you want ?" I stutter. 

"You do know what I want " I can sense the devilish chuckles behind his voice. 

"I don't think you can have it though," I said furiously.  Kayleigh sensed something wrong. She started staring at me all worried.

"Oh, baby you know I have too many ways to get back my things, don't you?" He said sarcastically "I just want to warn you. Take it as a last favor from me ." 

"Shut the crap and come to a point " I was so irritated by him that I just shouted. 

"Calm down darling,  now listen carefully. Leave your so-called boyfriend or you know I'll make you do it " he said in a serious tone. 

"Do you think I'll be scared of you? What kind of idiot are you?" I said laughing at his stupid threats or whatever. 

"Oh my lovely little thing, you should know me better than anyone else till now. I'll repeat just once leave him or I'll make you do it ." He was so damn serious at his last words. 

Of course, I know what he can do. Right now I was jolted by his words though. 

The hell I can't understand is why can't he just let me be alone? 

"What's wrong? '' Kayleigh asked, sensing my panic. "Was it who I think it is ?" 

I nodded "yeah it was Jared ." 

I told her everything from our date night and now calls. She was just shocked like me.

"So that jerk sent you those bouquets all these years ?" She said and I nodded "you know what I'll just kill him now" she shouted in anger. 

"I'll just break up with Kayden " I gasped at my own words. I just couldn't believe I said it. But what else can I do?

Who knows what that crazy asshole would do to him?

Believe me, I know what he can do. That jerk doesn't even have any limits.  

"Are you sure?" Kayleigh said niggling "I mean why do you have to be scared of that jerk ?"

"Kayleigh, you know that better than anyone else what he did to me. I just don't want him to hurt Kayden ." I said my eyes were filled with sadness. Tears were threatening to come out. "I want Kayden to be happy you know. He has been through a lot "I sobbed.

She hugged me to comfort me "so did you Izzy . You suffered too," she said, embracing me.

I came back to the mansion . It was evening and I knew everyone was still up . 

I entered the kitchen and saw Scott leaning against the counter . Holding his phone . He saw me and smirked . 

"Hey sexy , what's up?" Scott's old problem was awakened. 

I just scrunched my nose in disgust with his words . 

"Where's Kayden ?" I asked him straight away.

"In his room where else?" He said looking at his phone again . 

I rushed towards his room . I couldn't muster up the courage to enter . 

So I'm standing in front of his door . Thinking about what I should do .

Damn what will I say ? 

How am I gonna do it ?

What If he hit me ? Wait why would he hit me? 

Come on Isabella you can do it . You need to do it . This is the only way you can keep him safe and maybe happy . 

Let's just do it. 

Suddenly the door opened itself. A shiver of fear and panic aroused in my body . I just froze in one place.  I don't know what to do or not.

Then I saw those deep blue heavenly eyes . I felt lost in them . His angelic smile when he saw me . 

How can I be so cruel ? God I'm gonna hurt him bad . Damnit izzy.

"H-hey" I said as none other word  was coming out of my mouth .

"You're home . Huh."he said engulfing me into a hug . His warm body felt so good against mine . His touch was so gentle and delightful . 

I parted away awkwardly as soon as I realised what I had to do . 

"We need to talk," I said looking away from his eyes . I know if I look at him again I won't be able to do what I'm supposed to . 

"Is there something wrong?" He asked concerning. 

"No, I just wanted to tell you something, " I said, still looking anywhere but his face .

"Tell me?"he said, all serious .

"I think we should rethink this relationship " I barely murmured looking at my hands . 

I looked up at his face . His jaw clenched . His eyes darken with rage of anger and frustration.  

"What do you mean izzy?" He said rubbing his temples .

"I mean what I said " I grumbled . 

He grabbed my wrist and took me inside of his room . Closing the door behind . Yeah well more like he slammed hard. 

He turned to me and I got to see a new side of his. He was really angry like he would eat me now. 

"Say it again" he shouted . I panicked and took a step backward. 

He started taking slow steps towards me . He didn't stop until I'm trapped between a wall and his body . 

Closing the distance . He whispered in my ears " I dare you to say it again" . It sent Chills down my spine. 

His voice was so fucking sexy even when he is mad . I couldn't gather a single word to say.

I felt lump in my  throat . My mouth went all dry.  And I felt my voice disappear.  I tried to push him with my hands . But that was just stupid . He is  more stronger than me . 

"Let me go Kayden " I hardly whispered . 

"You wish my love " he said smiling wickedly.
