Playing Dirty

I turned around immediately. I knew this was me in deep shit. But at least the best I could do is defend myself.

"That's not true, I'm not that kind of girl," I said in a whisper, careful not to annoy him further.

"Not that kind of girl? Then what do you call this dress you're putting on? Don't tell me you're dressed for a fashion show? Or am I having a surprise party that I didn't know about?"

My heart sunk. At this point, I'm scared that whatever I say may not matter.

"I didn't mean to put on this dress. Ciara saw that it was beautiful, and it was beautiful in my eyes as well. I just wanted to show-"

"Enough with your excuses!" Xander yelled at me, cutting me off from what I was about to say to him.

"You know, I've seen your type a lot. You want everyone to sing your praises, that you're beautiful. Are you happy, now that you've managed to seduce my soldiers? You can see how stupid they became when they saw you, dressed up like some whore!"
