Chapter 6

Naomi's POV

I don't know what else to say as my legs wobbled beneath me. Adrenaline flushed through me. 

"And where the hell do you think you are going, girl?" Elsa spoke crossing my path. 

"What is going on? Are we dying? If only the ground has a mouth, probably we could use its help right now?" Nolly winced and went silent. 

"Naomi, I'm speaking to you! What the hell have you done with my sons?!" Alpha Alex asked as I went down on my knees.

"I'm sorry your Highness. It's my fault and I take the blame." I apologized. 

"Thank the goddess you knew that. I won't let it slide. I was slapped by my brother. And I'm not planning to let her go until she receives the same thing I got back from Ethan. Imagine how my brother slapped me because of a low-life animal?! Father, that's uncalled for?! Don't you agree?!" Gabriel barked. 

"He's only making matters worse. Oh, my world…" Nolly shook as I felt my hand sweat and my leg ache more. 

"Life is unbearable, Nolly. But we have to hold on." I whispered with my face bowed to the earth. 

"And you won't dare!" Logan sided this time around. 

"Brother, what else did you want from her?" Hunter intervened. 

"Father, you would not do this." Ethan finally added. 

"Three men siding with you I think you're such a lucky person, aren't you? But why do I feel that you still have feelings for Gabriel? Your emotions are so confusing, Naomi" Nolly replied. 

"That doesn't give you the right to slap your brother Ethan. You all never told me that you are back here to cause a nuisance because of what?!" Alpha Alex shouted. 

"Father, if you want all this to end then send her away. She's nothing but a thorn in the flesh of us all and if she continues to stay in this Palace, then we will not have peace, you agree baby?" Gabriel asked, dragging Elsa closer. 

"You can't send her away. I'm sure she doesn't have anywhere to go except here in this Palace, father. This is her home. Naomi has been working in this palace for years. Father, remember that she is the daughter of your dead friend, and you gave her the privilege to be here after you promised her father that you would take care of her. And you want to listen to Gabriel and send her away?" Hunter intervened. 

"I might not have known Naomi for long but this is not the way to treat someone like you, Gabriel!" Logan replied. 

"She's nothing like my man and she will never be!" Elsa spoke angrily. 

"And you will refrain yourself from speaking any longer! And when we talk you keep quiet!" Ethan shot back at her. 

"Father, I won't allow my brothers to speak to my Luna-to-be disrespectfully. I won't have you speak to her in this manner! This is the second time you will do that today Ethan! You might be my brother, you might be older than I am but you should know your limits and when to talk! Who the hell is Naomi that you all are so mindful of her, she's nothing but a worthless maid!" Gabriel barked. 

"Watch your tongue brother! watch it!" Hunter charged. 

"You know I've always liked the way you ignore everything going on in the palace and do not meddle before our older brothers came along. I appreciate it if you keep that behavior intact because if you do not I won't hesitate to put you in your place." Gabriel shot back at Hunter. 

"You won't do anything! I assure you." Hunter snapped. 

"I cannot believe that you all arrived in a day and caused me a lot of headaches." Alpha Alex spoke in anger causing the ground which I bowed my head to shake.

"Luna-to-be? And who is to make that decision for you? Since I'm alive Elsa will not be your Luna. I forbid it!" Alpha Alex spoke. 

"Father, what have I done wrong for you to go against myself and Gabriel mating?! Why do you hate me so much?" Elsa asked, almost throwing a tantrum. 

"I'm not your father, I remain your Alpha. And let this be the last time that you will address me in such a manner!" Alpha Alex spoke with authority. 

"Seems someone is already being a castaway." Nolly laughed so hard in my mind as I dared not lift my head. 

"Shut up Nolly. We do not know what my fate will be." I whispered carefully. 

"Listen to me carefully Gabriel. You rejected the mate the moon goddess has appointed to you. And if you do not marry her then you will be alone till she gives you another mate. I won't allow you to marry Elsa. And you of all people know what that means right?" I heard ask. 

"What does it mean?" Molly quickly asked me but I ignored her. 

"I won't hand over my throne to someone who doesn't have a mate. And my decision is final!" Alpha Alex replied.  

"Father, you won't do that to me. Elsa and I love each other and she has been my fiance for a long time. And here you are telling me that she is not the one for me? Fuck the moon goddess!" I heard him thrash the can beside me as I shook in fear. 

"There is nothing you can do about it. You should accept your fate because every one of us standing here accepted ours." Logan added. 

"You are in no position to tell me what to do because I'm not you who moved to the city with his wolf-less human mate." Gabriel scoffed. 

"Naomi is not as bad as your brother's fated mate. And if the moon goddess were to choose her for you then I'm very sure that she's the right person. And if you do not take Naomi as your mate then I assure you that your right will be passed down to someone else. And after today I do not want to hear any issues arising because you all are here to celebrate my 55th birthday. I just got treated by the werewolf doctor and I'm sure you wouldn't want your father to pass away before his birthday, do you?" Alpha Alex asked as he walked away with my head still bowed.  

"Naomi? You got mated to Naomi?" Logan and Ethan chorused. 

"How do we leave this place?" Nolly asked. 

Immediately Elsa grabbed my hair with force and pulled me up. 

"You wretched bastard!" She screamed as I broke my leg again with blood spilling on my bandage. 

I'm in for another drama. My life is just getting worse.
