"How much is a janitor's job?" Rose's question took Clara by surprise.
The girl who was two years younger than Rose looked at her new best friend in surprise. Dirty work as a cleaning service is mostly avoided by young girls, let alone beautiful ones. It's only in television dramas that it exists.
"Only about fifteen dollars an hour," Clara replied.
Rose thought for a moment, the salary for working late at night was greater than the work in the morning and afternoon she did. This additional work is quite helpful for Rose's needs, although it is still far from paying for the losses that will take some time to pay off.
