Chapter 39 | It's My Fault

Harvey gets inside Kian's car and waits for him to put on his belt and start the vehicle. He notices how tense he is. Kian is usually smiling and making jokes, but he's silent today. He keeps tapping the steering wheel with his hand. He's nervous. 

"It must be a shock for you," Harvey tells him. 

"Hell yes, it is," Kian finally speaks, "It's crazy to hear that your best friend was shot,"

Harvey presses his lips and looks through the window. His eyes start burning again, and he feels a ball forming in his throat. But he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath to control his emotions. "It's my fault," he mumbles with a shaky voice.
