As soon as they got in, Keith said to Kirklin “Call Alexandra for me”.

“Erm, Dad… can I please have a word with both of you first,” he asked.

“Kirklin Jefferson, we are not here to talk with you but with Alexa, so go in now and call her for us,” said Kelsey Jefferson in a motherly strict voice.

Kirklin had never heard his mum call him by his full name as she always called his nicknames but from the tone of her voice, he knew that there was indeed trouble in his paradise. He turned to his dad, but the stern looks on Keith’s face suggested he wasn’t there to play games.
