I turn on the water and run it over my face, then my mouth, rinsing off any residue of what I just vomited. Ryder remains by my side still holding my hair up.

"Maybe you should sit down," Ryder suggests, his voice soft and gentle.

"I am so sorry," I apologize. I don't know what just happened, perhaps because I haven't eaten all day.

"You don't need to apologize," he says. He lets go of my hair, giving me a moment to get myself before he guides me back into the room and to the edge of the bed.

I sit down, feeling a wave of dizziness wash over me, "Thank you," I mutter placing my hand on my forehead.

"Does it hurt?" Ryder asks, he bends down examining my forehead. "Let me get you a glass of water."

Ryder walks to the table and picks up a jug containing water that I didn't notice was there earlier, he quickly pours the water into the empty glass next to it.

"Here you go Miss," Ryder says handing it to me.
