Everett's POV

On the way, I felt something strange. The sky felt empty with no wind blowing at all. As if time had stopped, only a few crows were continuing to fly above there.

And sure enough, suddenly my car stopped instantly. Made me amazed.

"What is it?" I asked confused. Ian shook his head not knowing.

"I'll go out first, wait here," he said and got out of the car.

I couldn't wait and immediately came down. As soon as I got out of the car. My eyes are perfectly round.

Suuuts..

With quick movements, I deflected the wooden arrow. I saw that there was writing on the cloth attached to the arrow.

"'Hurry back' What does that mean? Who shot this arrow?"

Reflexively, I started looking for the owner of this arrow. And bingo!

Behind the tree, I saw someone in a red hood watching me before he was swallowed by the darkness of the forest.

"Who's he?"

“Mr. Everett!” Ian shouted and distracted me and walked over to him.
