Liam’s POV

All the preparations were put into place and my men were given their orders. Alpha Zane and I retreated to our rooms to retrieve our Lunas. When I entered Adira’s and my room, I was shocked to see her sitting by the window. Just staring out of it like she was lost in thought, not even turning when I entered. When I moved to her, I realized what she was looking at. There was a perfect view of the area that was set up for the meeting and the pack was already arriving.

“I spoke with my father.” Adira finally says acknowledging my presence.

Shock fills me with when and how she saw him and I stand there not knowing how to respond to her. In a way I was angry that she hadn’t asked me to see him but on the other hand who was I to tell her she could or couldn’t.
