Chapter 12: The revenge plan

As Mr. Whyte and Cody came down the stairs, he stared at those filing in and out.

“What’s going on here?” He asked.

“No idea, I heard it was an order from Nina, to move her plants and her clothes out, then some paintings”

Cody answered indifferently. Mr. Whyte wondered if he was just putting on a brave face to fool them or he really did not care about Nina.

At the Story’s Manor, Amaya, Nina and Mrs. Story sat at the patio having an afternoon chat when, some movers brought Nina’s belongings in, to Nina’s utter shock. So Cody was in so much of a hurry to kick her out, he couldn’t even wait for her to come for her things herself. She teared up and rushed to her room. Mrs. Story was getting angry, “Cindy must hear of this! How could Cody do this to Nina!”

Amaya figured her plans would go to nought if Mrs. Story called Cody’s mum, she immediately stopped her.

“No, Mrs. Story, I was actually the one who sent the movers” Amaya explained.
