The cold CEO of J.Enterprise is having his breakfast with his parents at their mansion.

"How's the search, honey?" his mother asked his father and the latter sighed.

"They're still searching. Alvic hid him well." Mr.J answered.

"Poor child. He's only five when it happened and he didn't deserve any of this." Mrs.J replied.

The couple is talking about the lost heir, Kanatha Trion. The only son of their dear friends, Derek and Alice Trion. The deceased owner of Trion Empire. J.Enterprise's business partner. All the shares and authority to manage the company were given to Jensen in case something bad happens to them. Because they are the only ones that they can trust.  Along with that, the late owner of T.Empire left a letter to his best friend to look after his son, Kanatha. And when the said son reached the age of 20, all inheritance will be back to him.

The Jensen is doing their best to look for him while taking care of the Empire on his behalf. The lost heir was taken away by the trusted man of the deceased couple when the incident happened. Their death was not actually because of the accident. They were targeted because of their connection to the Mafia.

Mew who is listening voiced out his thoughts.

"What if he's dead too?" his parents look at him. "We're not sure if that man is loyal or he could be working with the enemy,"

Alex, his father thought about it but, "I'm sure he's not." Before Mew can answer, his father's phone rings. Alex's face hardened.

"What happened?" he asked after the call ended.

"Sighs, my man finally found something about Alvic," He answered.

"And?" Mew's mother, Lia asked.

"He said that he died four years ago." Lia gasped at the new information.

"What about the kid?" Mew asked his dad.

"They are still looking into it. The thing is, someone was reported missing four years ago. The description matched Alvic's but the name is different. The police didn't find any corpse." Alex said.

"Then, there's a possibility that he's still alive, and what about the man's family?" Mew asked.

"He said that the man has a son and that son doesn't believe that his father is dead." Mew nodded then an idea come up.

"Why don't we look for his son?"He suggested.

"That's a good idea, Shion. Hun, find information about his son. I don't know why but I have a feeling that the son is Kana." Lia said with hope.

"Okay, I will call Theo, but honey, don't hope too much. Also, we will keep this a secret. It will be dangerous if that son is Kanatha." Alex said and his wife and son understood.

Crazy Café

Crazy café is one of the famous cafés near the campus where the owners are currently studying. Yes, the café owners are students. But no one knows it except the trusted staff of the café. They are the ones who are taking care of it while the owners work there as part-timers. Their shifts start after or before their school schedules.

This café is famous not only because the foods and drinks taste delicious but also because the students that are working there are handsome. First is Brent, the snob. Then his baby bunny William. Followed by the group's clown, Miko, and of course, the beautiful one in their group, Gulf.

Miko and Gulf are the owners of the café. Gulf is a boy with long hair. Many people thought that he is a girl because of his long hair and his body features. He looks like a girl with a boyish vibe. He's one of the reasons why the café is always packed, especially during his shift.

"Jeez, look at that. So early but the café is already in a blast," William said. They have morning shifts today because their classes will start at 1 pm. They are all classmates that's why they have the same shift hours.

"Well, the café's beauty is here. So, what do you expect?" Brent said.

"Shut up, guys, and start working. I'm going to the kitchen," Gulf said before heading to the kitchen. He preferred to stay hidden.

"You heard him. Let's get to work," said Miko.

Their shifts ended and now walking to their school.

"We only have two classes today, what are your plans after?" asked Will.

"Going back to the café," Miko answered.

"What about you, Gulfie?" Brent asked.

"I'm going to visit mama,"

"How is she by the way?" Miko queried.

"The same," Gulf answered.

"We can go with you," Will offered. Gulf shakes his head.

"Nah, it's okay. I'm going to the columbarium first since it's my death anniversary today," he said sadly. His friends cursed in their minds and stopped walking. Gulf noticed that he's the only one walking and looks back. He smiled at them sadly.

"Guys, I'm okay. Let's go. We don't want to be late, do we?" He said trying to lighten up the mood.

"Sorry, we forgot," Miko said.

"I said it's okay. Let's go~" Gulf said pulling his best friends.

When they reached the school

they were informed that all scholars of J.Enterprise are excused and must go to the auditorium.

Gulf is heading there when he heard some of his fellow scholars talking and gushing about the J.Enterprise's CEO. They are talking about how handsome the man is. They are now seated. The University's director starts talking and is currently explaining why they are called.

"Another reason why you all are called here is to announce some good news. First, we have evaluated all your grades from your first year up to now. Those scholars with consistently high grades will be rewarded by your benefactor. You will receive $100,000 as a reward. Those students that reached this certain score are the students who will receive it.

Gulf is feeling giddy hearing it. He is hoping that his name is one of the lucky students. His grades are always high and he also ranks first in his classes. But he didn't know about the other scholars.

Nine students were called and Gulf's name didn't come up. The money was awarded by J. Enterprise's CFO Zeke Pryce.

After giving the certificate, because the money will be deposited in their account where their allowances are given, Zeke stays on the stage and gets the attention of the students again.

"Okay kids, settle down. We are not done yet. So, we have another surprise. You see, when we evaluate your grades among the 30 scholars here, these 10 students are always on top of their classes."

The students start whispering because he said ten but only nine were awarded. Zeke chuckled knowing the reason. So, he continues...

"You heard it right. Ten. We only awarded nine students because these nine almost have the same grades but this one student is exceptional. Since freshman year, his grades are always high. He never fails in academics. So, to make it short, this student is the top one among all the scholars."

Another murmur erupted guessing who it might be.

"Let me call on J.Enterprise's CEO to announce who this student is. Please welcome, Shion Jensen!" Zeke announced.

Students start screaming. Gulf on the other hand is spacing out. He is sad that he is not included. The name of the student was called but he didn't hear it. He is just looking down on his lap. He was just snapped back when the student beside him talks.

"Who is this Gulf Lewis?"

That made him look up before turning to his side.

"What did you say?"

Before the student can answer, his name was called again.

"Student Gulf Lewis, are you not-

"There!"

The school director pointed in his direction. Gulf's heart is beating fast. He doesn't know if it's because he was called or because of the handsome man who is staring straight at him. Shion is mesmerized by his beauty.

"Gulf Lewis?" he asked looking at Gulf's eyes. Gulf nodded and Mew smiled at him. Everyone who saw it almost lost their jaw. The ever cold and never smiling handsome CEO smiled. Even Zeke was shocked together with his boyfriend Sean, who is Shion's executive assistant.

Gulf stands up slowly from his seat and went to the stage nervously. Both of them never averted their gaze to one another.

"OMG! It's, beauty!"

Someone shouted. Gulf finally reached the stage and was only a few steps away from the CEO when he accidentally slipped. Luckily, the CEO caught him.

"Beautiful indeed," Shion said in a low tone where Gulf can only hear. He helped Gulf to stand up and the latter mumbled a small thank you.

"huyyy~ they look cute together"

"True! I ship them!"

Many students agreed. Gulf is looking down trying to cover up his flustered face.

"Cute" Zeke said and he earned a death glare from Shion and everyone noticed it. They start fangirling again. Some boys are fanboying but some are not. They are disheartened because they also like Gulf.

Shion clears his throat and it made everyone shut their mouth.

"Let's continue. So, here, take this certificate" he said handing the certificate to Gulf which states that he is the recipient of $500,000 for being the most excellent scholar of J. Enterprise.

"$500,000?!" Gulf exclaimed loudly. It caused the other students to laugh at his reaction. The CEO just chuckled.

"I guess you weren't listening earlier. But yeah $500,000 for you." Shion said in a teasing manner.

"I, Uhm...Thank you so much!" Gulf said a little teary.

"You deserve it," the CEO answered. They took pictures after.

"What was that earlier, huh?" Zeke teased Mew.

"Shut up"

"I'm just happy for you, man," Zeke said.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Oh, you know what exactly I am talking about, Shion"

"Whatever. By the way Sean, is everything set?" he asked his secretary

"Yes, Mew. They will go down tonight" Sean answered.

"Good."

"Oh, my Gulf! I'm so happy for you!" Will exclaimed.

"$500,000?! Gosh, if I knew studying hard will give me this, I will study hard," Miko said.

"Haha, as if! Your little brain will explode if you overworked it," Brent said teasing him. They are having fun during their break.

"But, what I'm curious about is that your benefactor seemed interested in you," Brent pointed out.

"Right, we saw the video. Gosh! Gulfie, you two look good together," Will gushed. Gulf was about to answer when his phone start ringing.

"Aw, it's from the hospital. Hello?"

Gulf lost his hold to his phone and he start shaking.

"Hey, Gulf what's wrong? What happened?" Miko asked worriedly.

"Mama"

It's the only word he can utter. His three best friends gathered all their things and Brent picked up Gulf's phone and they all hurriedly went out of the campus.

They arrived at the hospital and run towards May's room. Gulf dropped his bag and went slowly to his mother's side.

"Ma?" Gulf called softly. Slowly, his mama stretched her hand to Gulf and he holds it while kneeling beside the bed.

"Ma, Nat is here," he said controlling his tears. May is caressing his head while smiling.

"Mama is very sorry. Mama is tired," she said weakly. Gulf can't control his tears anymore.

"Don't say that, Ma"

"Don't cry, baby," She said wiping his tears. Gulf is just shaking his head.

"Mama loves you, my little Gulf"

Gulf froze hearing his mama called him with his name. His friends are crying watching them.

"Ma? You-

"Forgive mama, Gulf. Mama loves you, my Guppie," May said before drawing her last breath.

"N-no. No, no, ma! P-please... Mama!" Gulf is crying hard tightly holding his mother's hand that he placed on his cheek.

Will is crying hard in Brent's arms. Miko took the courage to go to Gulf's side.

"She's g-gone, Miko. She, she left me. I, I'm alone now," Gulf said sobbing hard.

"Shh, we're here for you, Gulf. You're not alone. Hush now," Miko said consoling his friend.

"She, sh-"

"Gulf!" they all screamed when Gulf fainted.
