A Second Lie

I turn around and groan, angry from being woken up by the noises coming from outside the van. Can't one just sleep in peace in their neighborhood? It's too frustrating.

"Get up and have breakfast if you're awake. We're just about two hours away from reaching where we'll settle for now. I booked an apartment for us in Georgia already. " I'm startled by that voice and even more stunned by the realization that it's real. What the hell is he to be awake so soon after sleeping late and being exhausted the whole night. You don't tell me he suffers from insomnia or the sort.

My eyes already open, I sit up, stretching out lazily and that's when I notice the van is already moving. Isn't he such a workaholic?

I rub on my lids, still feeling very sleepy and I find it there...a very good sight it is.
