Chapter 12: let's do it

Larissa's viewpoint

I dazedly walked into my house, walking in a waddling-like manner. My father and Tristan were sitting on the new black leather sofa, close to each other, watching a basketball march. The living room was a mess. This is what happens when I leave them alone for a whole afternoon. Why do they both have to be such a child?

I dropped my bag loudly, but they still didn't notice me. I scoffed and walked towards the television, stopping right in front of it. "Oi!" They both shouted, pulling their hair. "You're in the way! Get lost, daughter!" I didn't have the energy to deal with them, so for once in my life, I stepped away from the TV and let them be. They would figure out my mood later when they realized I left them alone for once. They'll probably panic, but whatever.
