7–Who Am I to You?

One entire week has passed. After the bench incident, Evy ignored Eddy completely. He had caught her a few times looking at him, but before his eyes met hers directly, she used to either turn her face or start rolling her eyes.

She didn’t speak a single word to him. Last week all the lectures of Mrs. Natalia were cancelled as she had the flu. So, in that period, she either used to hang out with Hailey and Owen or keep up with her studies in the library.

The library and Evy cannot be apart forever. She loves reading books. She is not your typical nerd who likes to keep her nose in the books. She just wants to get good grades and become something in life. She is your normal teenage girl, but the difference is that she is more focused than others.

Evy’s silence was killing Eddy. He still remembers her words, ‘I’ll never be able to forgive you.’

That means she wants to, but she can’t. Why can’t she forgive him like before? He has to talk to her to make things clear between them.
