"Andrews! What are you doing here?" I exclaimed.

"It's a complete miracle to see you again, Anastasia. How have you been all these years?" He replied.

I saw panic in his eyes, and it brought me a deep sense of satisfaction, something I hadn't felt in a long time. These years had changed Anastasia; she had become a very beautiful woman. Those emerald, green eyes sparkled, her reddish hair was tempting, and those lips were captivating. I didn't want to look any further, or she would see the beast that I didn't want her to see in me.

"I've been just fine, Alpha. You didn't have to bother yourself with these matters," I tried to sound as calm as ever, making sure my face and voice didn't betray me. I prayed to all the gods that the girls wouldn't come to us.

She had become colder, more calculating. I wondered what had happened in her life to make her this way. But I didn't care in the slightest; all I wa
