Chapter 2

Rooh was sitting on the couch reading book but her mind was somewhere else. She was waiting for her father to return back soon so she can leave for Russia to meet Sasha.

Sasha had already planned everything she will pick her up from the airport and then they will go to her apartment. She do not live with her parents so they both will be all alone in that apartment. Sasha had told her that the apartment she is living in is her aunt's apartment which she gave her until she completes her studies.

She is a Physcology student according to what she has told Rooh. Rooh was also a little nervous that she is going to a whole different country and how will be here experience but nonetheless she was excited also because it was her first international trip and above that alone.

She moved back her concentration on her dark romance book which she likes to read in her free time and she likes to crush on fictional characters which are morally grey men according to the books she reads. She loves to live in her delusional world to escape the cruel reality but also know to keep difference between delusional and real world.

She sometimes like to vibe on the famous k-pop band Bts also. She is a very loving and chill girl and don't have much friends but only a best friend who is also on vacation right now. She only shares her things either with Sasha or her.

Suddenly she got distracted by the loud car honk and she knew that it was none other than her father's car. She placed her book aside properly and ran down the stairs and straightly collided with her mother.

"Are aram se!" her mother whisper yelled at her.

(Translation: Hey take it easy.)

"Sorry mamma." she apologized and gave her a sheepish smile making her shook her head.

(Translation: Sorry mother.)

"Is ladki ka hum kya karein?" she said to herself.

(Translation: What should we do with this girl?)

Rooh stopped in front of her father's car. "Papa apne book kar di meri tickets?" she asked him eagerly.

(Translation: Father did you booked my tickets?)

"Haa beta kar di." her father said to her.

(Translation: Yes child I have done it.)

"Yayyyy!" she yelled happily and started jumping here and there like a kangaroo making her parents laugh out at her antics.

They were happy for their daughter but deep inside they were scared also. She was still a teenager and they never sent her somewhere alone and it was about going to a different country. She told him that her friend woll come to pick her up from airport and then they will live in her apartment but they are parents and have to worry about their daughter.

"Par beta tumhe ek hafte me hi wapis ana hoga." her father interrupted I'm between making her to stop at her place.

(Translation: But child you have to return back within a week.)

"Thik hai papa ap tension mat lo." rooh said to her father reassuringly.

(Translation: Okay father. You don't worry.)

He nodded and went inside their home making Rooh to sprint back in the house behind them. She went to her room and immediately fetched her phone from the side table.

She sat on the bed and immediately messaged Sasha informing of her arrival.

:I'm coming tomorrow at 11:45 be there to pick me up.

She placed her phone back knowing Sasha would be in her college at this time and started reading her book again.

Finally today was the day when she will be departuring to Russia and the whole house was in chaos. Rooh's mother was packing all the necessary things that can be needed in her journey and her father was ready to drop her at the airport.

But unfortunately the news of her going to Russia reached to her relatives and as we all know how relatives are, they can't see someone being happy and that's what exactly happened with Rooh.

Their relatives and specially some jealous aunt's were calling her father since morning and asking him that why he agreed to send her this far. Rooh was irritated by those aunts poking their nose in her business but decided not to say anything.

"Beta kya tum taiyyar ho?" her father asked to her.

(Translation: Child are you ready?)

"Haa papa mai taiyyar hu." Rooh replied to her father excitedly.

(Translation: Yes father I'm ready.)

"To fir chalo hum airport ke liye nikalte hain." her father said with a heavy heart. His heart was still in a little struggle to her go so far.

(Translation: Then come we should leave for the airport.)

Rooh ran upstairs and immediately brought her luggage bag down. Her father started placing them in the car trunk.

"Waha jake apna khayal rakhna aur khana time se khana." her mother said worried to her.

(Translation: After reaching there take care of yourself and have your food on time.)

Rooh smiled hearing her mother's concerned lace voice.

"Haa mai apna khayal rakhungi ap fikr na karo aur ap bhi apna khayal rakhna." she said to her mother assuringly.

(Translation: Yes I will take care of myself you don't worry and you also take care of yourself.)

"Aa jao beta chalne ka time ho gaya hai." her father called her from outside.

(Translation: Come child it's time to go.)

She gave her mother a last hug and went outside. After bidding goodbye to her mother she sat in the car.

After 20 minutes of drive they reached to the airport and her father took her luggage out of the trunk.

"Yaha se mai sambhal loongi papa." she said to her father and took the bag in her hands.

(Translation: From here I will handle father.)

Her father nodded and with a heavy heart sat in his car and drove off. Rooh went inside the airport and completed all the formalities finally heading towards her flight.

She sat down on her reserved window seat and plugged earphones in her ears. After sometime she felt sleepy so she closed her eyes and waited for the flight to reach Russia.
