I woke up with a raging headache and doors slamming shut in the house. When I managed to sit up, I found I was nakèd under the blanket and there was a note with pills waiting for me to down with the glass of water. I picked up the note and read his words, “We need to talk.”

He had tried to talk to me last night too, but then I hadn’t wanted to listen to him, so instead I had shut him up by kissing him the moment we had entered my bedroom and we had ended up in the bed. It had also been because I was feeling hurt and I didn’t want to speak to him

Bless her heart. Then he needs to leave her alone and let her move on like she was trying but then he tells her no one else can have her. What an arse!

Oh my goodness, Violet has become such a strong woman. I’m proud of her, but also so sad for her and Cole.

This chapter makes my heart hurt. We missed this part of Kiara & Dom's story, only getting a little glimpse of this time in their relationship. To now see Dom in this sorrow and know Vi & Cole may struggle too, is painful. Looking forward to more.
