Chapter 13: His Call

I can’t help but stare at him with tightly pressed lips for the rest of being in silence with him. My fingers were clutched by each other while waiting for our food to be served, fighting with time. We’ve been like this for almost half an hour, and no one would ever dare to talk. Like, who would start an awkward conversation if you’re both born with pride?
