Chapter 15: Heart felt

Ethan's POV

" I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I was ten, We went camping with our mothers as a sport for extra credit and fun. I told my mom and she declined the offer saying; she had to work but after much persuading from me and a word from dad she agreed.

We joined the other kids and their mothers for the sports when suddenly mom wanted to leave. She said she had to attend a meeting and my stupid childish school activity would not stop her. I followed her even after much protests, we drove off and it began to rain , she got a call saying she had to pick the foreign investors herself. She dropped me off in front of a book store telling me to wait for her without moving a muscle in the pouring rain with very little shade. It rained down on me as tears filled my eyes. I was cold hurt and shaking , I sat down rocking myself back and fort for over two hours.
