"Hello" I whispered running up the stairs.

"Hello, Eloise." The dark and strangely sensual voice sent a shiver through my being and I shuddered.

It was him.

Julian.

I didn't know how to react to that, was I still sleeping and dreaming that Julian was calling me? And since he had my grandmother's number… But of course, I had left my cell phone in his car.

"Hhn...Julian?" He wasn't there in person, but I felt my body and cheeks heat up.

"Very well, you already recognize my voice." he replied.

"What do you want? I mean, why are you calling me? And how did you get my grandmother's number?" I asked carefully so as not to sound ignorant with my questions. I tried to pretend I didn't know my cell phone had been left in his car.

"Your phone was in my car. I dared to touch it to look for the number of someone responsible for you, as I didn't see mom or dad, there was only one, which was grandma with a heart on the front, so I deduced that I could enter that number contact you and return your phone." He explained.

"It's true, I went looking and couldn't find it. I thought I had lost it on the street. Where can I find you to pick you up?" I asked with my palm sounding.

"I can take it to your house." He said and paused, I continued in silence realizing he was going to say something else. "Actually, I'm already here. You can come and get it." My heart sped up. I looked out my bedroom window and there he was across the street, outside the car and leaning against it.

The clothes he was wearing were different from earlier. He must have been a very rich man, the car was also different, his clothes were so elegant, worthy of runway models. My body heated up even more just by looking at him from afar. Shit, I was screwed.

"I'm going down." I just answered and hung up.

I tiptoed down the stairs so as not to wake up Florence, it wouldn't be good to explain at that moment when I was already shaking with nerves. I put on my slippers and walked with quick steps towards where he was, the rain had calmed down and only the strong wind was blowing in my face.

I approached without looking at him, I didn't want him to see my nervousness. But I couldn't help smelling the wonderful woody scent he gave off.

"Hey." He said extending his hand to me, at that moment I had no choice but to extend my hand and shake it.

As I extended my hand to him, he took it and brought it to his lips, placing a kiss on the back of my hand. I floated with that simple gesture. His lips were so hot they felt like they had burned my skin, soft and gentle... I looked at his face once and for all and his eyes were a strange and dark glow, a corner smile as beautiful as he was.

"Hi..." I answered softly. I noticed that he was looking me up and down, I looked at myself and realized that I was only wearing baggy pants and an old sweatshirt. I was very embarrassed that he saw me all out.

"I liked the outfit." he said with a mocking look.

"No need to be sarcastic, I know it's awful. But that's how I like to be when I'm home, and it feels good." I shrugged, rolling my eyes. He gave a low laugh.

"Rolled your eyes at me, young lady?" he asked, pretending to be offended.

"What?! No..." I replied getting into his.

"Better that way." He said getting serious and I realized I was smiling too much, I looked at his face and his gaze was towards my mouth, I don't know if it was my lips or my smile that he was looking at.

I suddenly felt bad for being so rude. My grandmother taught me politeness and I should always invite in someone who would help me and I could trust, and I felt that in Julian. By the way, my grandmother also wanted to meet him for helping me by bringing me home.

"You..." I cleared "You, want to come in?" I asked shyly.

"Glad to." He replied with a small smile on his face.

"Okay then... I just made some coffee and my grandma would like to meet the person who brought me home." Told him.

"Did you mention me to her?" I was pretty sure I saw concern in his expression.

"I said yes, I don't hide anything from her." I shrugged.

"Fine. But today I'm not going in, I have an appointment now. I just stopped by to return your cell phone, but it makes my type to keep things that aren't mine." Of course, that explained her smart clothes and fragrant perfume. And what else would he call me for, if not to give me back my cell phone?

"That explains why it's so tidy and smelling so good." I whispered but my heart almost jumped out of my mouth when I realized I had said it out loud. My face burned with embarrassment, so I immediately dropped my gaze.

"Why? Do you think I look good and smell good?" With a crooked smile he asked me. I blushed again like an idiot.

"Why, of course. You know I do." I answered sincerely.

"I like of your sincerity. But know, Eloíse, that I preferred to be dressed like this, like you, comfortable and at home." So the appointment he had was obligatory.

"You lose, because you don't want to enter. But when you want to show up, feel free." I said trying not to sound desperate for more of his attention.

"Who says I don't want to? I can't, it's different." He replied and approached me, carefully he raised one of his hands and ran it through my hair. I closed my eyes when I felt that touch so good, I shuddered all over when he placed a kiss on my forehead. "Now I have to go, it's my time."

"Okay. Thanks Julian." I just said and accidentally my tone came out upset. He took my cell phone out of his pocket and handed it to me, I took the cell phone and put it in my old pants pocket. Immediately it rang, I looked at the display and it was João.

I waved at Julian, who got into his car and drove away. Immediately I felt that strange feeling of emptiness. The ringing of my cell phone brought me back and I answered it running into the house.

"Hi friend who misses class and doesn't warn."

"I'll explain later. Espinoza! I have something new to tell you."

"Here it comes. What is it?"

"Olívia lost her virginity! That's why she didn't go to school, she's all burned out."

"My god John! Why are you telling me? She should be the one to tell, you snooper."

"She asked me to talk because she's ashamed. She went with Matheus."

"I think I suspected, he's her boyfriend, João. And where's that girl? Does Olivia think she can abandon her friends like that? You guys are very abandoning!"

"She's at Matheus' house, she's going to stay there for the whole weekend. She didn't take her cell phone with her so she wouldn't be disturbed, if you know what I mean."

"I understand. I do."

"And you? How are you, rust?"

"I'm fine. I also have news to tell you." I told him all about Julian and how I felt around him.

"You and your obsession with falling in love with older, impossible men." He replied.

"You as my friend should support me, you fake."

"I support you my love. But you falling in love with Jensen Ackles is complicated. Now this Julian guy I haven't seen yet, I want to meet."

"It doesn't start with your fire on João! He is my platonic love."

"Love? You met the man today. Wanted to learn a subject in school as quickly as you fall in love." He laughed out loud.

"I didn't say I'm in love with anyone, you piece of shit. I just said it's impossible, a man like that must be married and have a family already."

"Do not give up on your dreams." He said mockingly. "Now I have to go. My mother is calling me."

"Okay bye."

"Bye little chick." João and his trillions of nicknames he put on me.

I hung up the call and went into the kitchen to get another cup of coffee. I had my coffee and went upstairs to my room. A few minutes later my grandmother called me.

"Daughter."

"Hi Grandma." Open the door.

"Help me cook dinner, I'm not feeling very well."

"Of course. But what do you have?"

"My head hurts, I think I'll have to take some sleeping pills tonight."

"Wow, I hope it gets better." I gave her a hug.

We went down to the kitchen and cooked dinner together. We always did very little so as not to have too much left over. After dinner we ate and sat in the living room for a cup of coffee and watching TV. Nothing was going well, so almost an hour passed and I went up to my room. Not before picking up grandma's sleeping pills and handing them to her, I enjoyed taking care of those who took care of me so much.

Dona Florence went up to her room and I had a look at her before going into mine. She slept like a rock. I checked that everything was locked in the house properly and went to my room. My cell phone ended up discharging, I put it on to charge and lay in bed.

In the middle of the night I woke up scared with someone knocking on my bedroom window, luckily I was a very light sleeper. I got up scared, could it be the maniac? Oh God. With my heart racing I looked through the crack in the curtain.

I didn't believe it. What was he doing there? Julian, he had several bruises on his face and looked tired and very bad. In a hurry and relieved that it was him and not the maniac, I opened the window for him. He almost fell on top of me, but I helped him to sit on the couch in the corner of the room.

"Good heavens Julian, you scared me. What are you doing here at this hour? And what happened to you?" I whispered so my grandma wouldn't hear.

"The others are far worse off than I am, that's for sure." He said and chuckled. "And you said that when I wanted to come, I could." He responded quietly with one hand wiping blood off his face.

Lord, what was I going to do?
