Chapter 17

Kaylee pov

Nothing happens and I can't get the hand of me when I get shaken violently.

"Wake up, you have to wake up now." I hear someone yelling at me when I shoot my eyes open and come to stare right in the eyes of a young nurse when she is holding around my shoulders and shakes me.

I feel pain around my shoulder and I'm disoriented when I look at her and around in the room. I don't see anyone else than us inside, and I'm still in the bathtub, but the water doesn't feel warm any longer.

"Where is he?" I say and try to look out into the room when she lets go of my shoulders.

"There isn't anyone else here other than you and me. I found you sleeping in the tub and almost drowned when I grabbed you and pulled you up. You're lucky I got here when I did, or I'm sure you would have drowned in the tube. Don't you know it's dangerous to fall asleep in the water?" she says, and I hear in her tone that she is shaken up.
