There was a fragrant scent in the air, a faint scent of jasmine. It was not a luxurious scent, but more like those boutique-made fragrances that cost around 15 dollars. Interestingly, it did not have the heavy, strong scent that most cheap perfumes had. Instead, it had a light scent, so light that it made me feel a little terrified.

Without a doubt, this was a woman's perfume.

However, Lucian never used cologne. If the scent could linger on him until he got home, it meant that they had had intimate contact.

I bit my lip. It was stained with blood from the aggressive kisses shared, but it did not hurt.
