Eva opened her eyes, feeling relief flood her body as she realized it had all been just a nightmare. She breathed deeply, letting the sensation of reality calm her nerves.

She sat up in bed, bringing a hand to her chest to calm the rapid beating of her heart. Looking around, she found comfort in the familiar surroundings of her room.

With a sigh of relief, she lay back down, closing her eyes in the hope of finding the restful sleep she so desperately needed after that distressing experience.

The next morning, I woke up feeling a bit sleepy; I had been kept awake last night by the nightmare I had. I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to shower and change. My stomach rumbled with hunger.
