Anna's Pov

As I walked towards my Bentley Flying Spur, I was about to open the door when I heard someone call out my name.

"Anna?" the voice called out again. I looked up to see who it was, and to my surprise, it was my mother. I hadn't seen her in months, and she looked angrier than ever.

As she approached me, I could see the hatred in her eyes. "What are you doing here?" she asked, her voice laced with anger. "And whose car is this?"

"Is that all you're concerned about?" I asked, my voice rising slightly. "Not how I'm doing, or what I've been up to?"

I could tell that she was not pleased to see me, and I knew that this conversation was not going to be a pleasant one.

I took a deep breath and tried to remain calm. "Mrs Emilia Scott, this car belongs to me," I said, "and I came here to give your future son-in-law his divorce papers."
