Chapter 46

It was our first day of university. Jason as a professor and I as a student. I was super duper excited but at the same time, I was a nervous wreck.

The whole car ride was calming and Jason kept his hand on my thigh which was a great distraction thankfully. But he noticed the nervousness written all over my face as we stopped at the red light.

He squeezed my thigh garnering my attention. "Don't be nervous, Angel." His deep voice was soothing as I passed him a soft smile.

"It'll be overwhelming at first because it is your dream. Everything would feel surreal but you'll be fine. You've earned it. You've worked hard for this," He rasped. I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers. He pulled my hand close to his face before dropping a kiss on the back of my hand and then holding it to his chest.

I smiled warmly as I tucked my hair strand behind my ear and looked outside the window feeling so lucky to have him.
