Chapter 30

April's pov

I felt a warm touch on my lips which stirred me out of my sleep. When I opened my eyes, I saw Jason crouching on the floor very close to my face. With one arm propped up on the back of the couch and the other next to me, I was enveloped in his shadow as he looked down on me from above. He was hovering over me.

His bluish hues peered down at me as we looked at each other and the time seemed to stand still.

His hair was down covering his forehead. His thick brows were together as if he was restraining himself from something. My eyes glided to his pink full lips, his light stubble gave him a rugged look and his eyes. Those ocean pools looked at me as if he could see right through my soul into the deepest darkest parts of my soul.

There was this immense pull that I couldn't describe. My body yearned to disappear in his warmth and drown in his soul. I just wanted to pull him closer. To feel the warmth of his skin. My thoughts rattled my heart making no inhale sharply which w
