Adine's Fear

Adine was startled when she heard banging on the door. She was nervous and quickly put away all her test pack results.

“Adine, are you okay inside?” Dominik's voice was getting louder. “If you don't answer me, I'll break down this bathroom door!”

Adine hurriedly put her test pack into the pocket of her dress carefully so as not to be found by Dominik.

The banging sound was getting louder, she was getting more nervous, “Dominik, be quiet! I'm fine!” she replied in the bathroom.

But Dominik, a stocky man with short hair and eyes that always seemed to be looking for answers, was not satisfied.

“If you don't answer me, I'll break down this bathroom door!” His threat grew more serious, his voice rising, sounding frustrated.

With a pounding heart, Adine unlocked the door and opened it slightly so that only her head and some of her shoulders were visible.
