“You should know by now, it’s an everyday ordeal.” He chuckled.

Pulling her closer, smirking at her aesthetic features when they continued their walk.

“Yeah…” She hummed.

“So, you used to work for Juniper, right?” He asked as they walked down the garden.

“Yeah.” She nodded.

“When is she going back?” He asked as Juniper was not from Fier, she was from another continent and an illegal immigrant.

“I don’t know. Her Highness granted her a few years.” She shrugged casually, Juniper was on recreation until she was called back.

“I see. And you? Will you stay?” He asked the main question, worried she might not go back to her homeland.

“I don’t think I have anywhere else to go anyways.” She said vaguely, scanning the exquisite garden with a feeble smile over her lips, indulging in the alone time she gained with him.
