Last Night

She was getting bored. She went into the study to search for a new fantasy book. Alberto, her brother, added a new collection after fifteen days. He knew his sister loved to read fantasy books instead of love stories. She was running her fingers over the queue of the book's titles.

"Twilight, Dead Beautiful, The Kiss of Deception, Relentless." She whispered the names of the titles, "City Of Bones," She pulled it out from the queue. She hadn't read it.

She turned on her pointed white heels. It was matching with her white floral dress touching her knees. Alberto was sitting on a chair in the library. His head was in both hands. His coat was on the next chair. Mostly, he put it on the back of the chair. His tie was loosened. He was undoubtedly depressed about something. It wasn't that he fought with his wife over something. Sara was a kind soul. She hadn't seen such a lovely pair. They were made for each other.

She paced toward him. Her pointed heels ech
