Chapter Sixteen

My eyes slowly opened after seeing myself in a dark pit of holes where i feel suffocated, so far away. The ever so familiar white painted ceiling has welcomed my adjusting vision and the florescent light almost blinding it. I'm in the hospital...

Memories of the last time i was admitted here have flooded my mind and it was a disaster. I quickly felt the urge to get up but then, a shit of a headache struck me. I held my head while wincing in pain. When the door opens...

"Hey, hey! Stay put in there, okay? It's okay, it's gonna be okay..." Sydney came to hush me. I held onto her arm.

Next to her is the doctor assigned here. She stepped to give him a space in front of me. I looked at him attentively.

"How's my baby?" Instead, i questioned him back. He chuckled as he fixed the arrangement of his stethoscope around his neck.
