Jessica's POV

Kessler's sister- Anna is a really good kid. I shuffle from my home to his most work and weekends and by doing so it has shaped me to loosen up in most areas of my life.

“Aunt Jessica can we go now?” She says almost out of breath running down the stairs. We have to make it in time for my cake testing. Yes, my wedding cake testing. My uncle disapproved of my relationship to any male specie that wasn't Samuel the cheat. How could he be inhumane? He knows too well the pain and misery that hellish union would cost me but he cares less. Money has gotten a hold of his conscience, he can trade it for anything.

The meeting might not have gone well like I thought of my uncle accepting Kessler for my happiness but the highlight of the dinner meeting was Kessler standing up to my dictatorial Uncle. It felt so pure to watch him defend me like his life depends on it.
