Chapter 2

Jason slammed his car door and tried to calm down before driving off. He made it clear to his parents that he never wanted to have children after he lost his son Jamie. Jason tightened his grip around the steering wheel before speeding away. His vision went blurry as he drove to his mistress's house.

"Jason?" Celia said as he walked right past her after she opened the door. "I thought we were meeting tomorrow night."

Celia poured two glasses of wine and handed one to Jason. He chugged his wine down and poured another.

"Calm down, JJ."

Jason hadn't said a single word since he got there. The only thing on his mind was his son. He didn't deserve to die. Celia walked towards Jason and tried to take his clothes off.

"Let me help you get out of this restricting suit of yours," Celia said as she stared at him with complete lust.

"Not now, Celia. I'm seriously not in the mood for this right now."

Jason started looking around the room as though he was lost. He began getting flashbacks to the day he found out his son had died. He grabbed the corner of the kitchen island to support himself.

"Then why exactly are you here, Jason?" Celia questioned and crossed her arms.

Celia was so used to their hookups that it upset her when he wouldn't even touch her. She had tried many times to have him leave Maya and be with her instead. She had a very unhealthy obsession with Jason. He was just too distracted to notice it.

"I don't know why I'm here. I should go."

Jason tried to leave, but Celia grabbed his arm.

"You don't have to go. I could run us a hot bubble bath and give you a massage afterward."

Celia ran her fingers up his arm till she got to his tied and slowly untied it.

"That's not a bad idea." He smirked and threw her over his shoulder.

She let out a giggle as the two went upstairs.

Jason got behind Celia in the tub and played with one of her curls. He enjoyed seeing Celia and didn't see anything wrong with it. He never wanted to get married in the first place, so he saw no reason to commit to it.

"I love having you here."

Jason didn't pay much attention to what Celia said. He just wanted to have a relaxing bath before he went back home. Jason rarely ever spends the night with Celia. He only sees her to blow off steam he had from work or his wife. The thought of seeing Maya upset him. If he could, he would never bother seeing her.

"I should get going."

Celia turned to him with a disappointed look on her face. She hated it when he had to leave. The fact that he was married angered her even more. Celia wanted him to herself; and she was determined to make it happen.

"I thought you could maybe stay the night." Celia tried convincing him.

"I can't. I need to prepare for lunch with Maya and our parents. My parents requested that I make my marriage public."

Jason tucked in his shirt and fixed his hair before he kissed Celia on both cheeks and left.

Celia sat there feeling the anger boil inside of her after what Jason had just told her. She knew she needed to find a way to get rid of Maya, or she would lose Jason forever.

"What now?" Jason argued after he answered his phone.

Jason got into his car and drove off.

"Sorry to bother you this late, Sir but Maya crashed one of the cars into the pool. I'm afraid she may do it again."

Jason had just about had it with Maya and all her temper tantrums. She had cost him millions of dollars already; and it didn't seem like she planned on stopping.

"For fucks sake!" Jason yelled into the phone.

Jason hated taking his anger out on the bodyguards, especially because he knew how hard it was for them to look after that devil of a woman. He would probably increase their pay after what they had to deal with tonight.

"Is he on the phone?! Let me fucking speak to that good-for-nothing piece of shit!!" Jason heard Maya yell at the guard.

He had many regrets in, but marrying Maya was by far his worst regret. Jason remained quiet for some time as he listened to Maya have a meltdown in the background. He hated everything about this girl. Everything. Except her big brown eyes and her tender smile.

"Screw you, Jason!" He heard her scream then everything went silent for a while before Jason heard a car engine.

"What's going on?"

"Sir, she might drive another car into the pool." The guard informed Jason. "Shit!" He yelled, followed by a deafening crash.

"Talk to me! What just happened?" Jason asked in a panic.

"She crashed the car through a wall, sir."

"What the hell? Make sure she's alright!" Jason demanded.

He drove into his garage and rushed to his kitchen to get a shot of whisky. This woman was going to be the death of him. He tugged at his tie to loosen it while he waited for the guard to check on Maya.

"She's still breathing, sir but she is unconscious." The guard finally said.

Jason threw his whiskey-filled glass against the wall.

" Call the doctor and have him check for  any major injuries. I also need you to take her to a new villa just a few miles away from the one you're currently at. I'll send you the address, and I'll be there tomorrow after work." Jason instructed the guard and hung up.

Never in his wildest dreams did he think such a beautiful young girl could be capable of causing such destruction.
