Katie's POV

I left and this time, I did myself the favor of not turning around.

I somehow caught up with the school bus and again like most times, it was almost empty. Two female students I recognized from a year lower than me made it a point to gossip loudly. I knew one of them more than the other because I was quite familiar with her dad. He came around the café I worked at to pick up different women while everyone just pretended not to notice at all.

It didn't take long before my name found its way into their mouths.

Apparently, they say she gave him a blow job in the professor’s lounge during recess. And they didn't even use condoms, "The less familiar girl said out loud enough for me to hear.
