“Are we all supposed to throw a big party for you now that you have returned? The prodigal wife has deigned to come home and grace us all with her presence? How long are you going to stay this time around? Going to wait until Thanksgiving morning to do another runner are you saving it for a special occasion like Christmas or your anniversary?” Kimmy sneers.

Her words break Lily's heart but she expected the anger. She knew that she could not just waltz back in here like no time at all had passed and expect everyone to just forgive and forget the past.
