Alessia's POV

I remain in the chambers after Adrian went out to check he site of his new estate after his supervisor informed him of an urgent need. While watching the TV, my mind goes off to think of what just befell me, the decision of the lycan King. Everyone knows how powerful he is and how his words are sooner or later executed.

Adrian has never let anything worry him, but I can see how worried he is in this case, even as he was going out. I yawn, feeling tired and frustrated, there's no how I can return back to Phoenix, he has a girlfriend he loves already and besides he doesn't loves me. I wouldn't be able to fight for love from a man, even though he is my mate.

I rise up from the couch and head to the bedroom, which is part of the chambers. Like a heep of wood falling off a platform, I drop on the soft bed, moaning in pains, emotional pains. At other times, dropping on a soft, fluffy bed like this would bring out a sweet, blissful moan from me. Today is quite different.
