Chapter 56

Damian smiled at Amelia with his eyes full of love and warmth. He pulled Amelia to his arms, gently embracing her as to not squish her belly.

“I really, really love you. You have no idea how much you meant to me” Damian said as he buries his head on her neck.

Amelia felt something wet on her neck that slid down to her back. ‘He’s crying’ she thought as she softly caressed Damian’s back. “I really, really love you too” she replied.

Damian lets go of Amelia after a few minutes. He casually wiped his tears away, trying to not make it seem that he cried. Amelia smiled and giggled while thinking how adorable Damian was. 

Damian went back to his seat. He called a servant to bring them the dessert. After eating their meals, they spent a few hours talking while drinking tea to digest. After that, both of them went back to their bedroom with their hands intertwined together.
