Alpha Baron's POVInstead of giving me a response to my request, Naomi began to laugh. I don't know why she was laughing but I felt it was like a mockery to me. Though hurted, I didn't act as if I was. When she told me the reason for her laughter, the feeling of failure and anger set in. Naomi POVLying on the gurney was a little boy who was covered with blood. There were several cuts on his body but I couldn't bring myself to take note of them all. Blinking my eyes rapidly, I tried to steady my heavy breathing but I couldn't. The sight was so terrifying that with each passing minute, I felt life seeping out of me.
