Blue Moon Chapter 28 The Change

"The council gave the Red moon Alpha 1 month to hand over those responsible for your accident." Jake explained.

"You mean my attempted murder?" Rae retorted.

"Yes. The guy that cut the cable was from his pack. We caught him and he wouldn't talk. I had to hand him over to the council." Jake explained.

"And they've not said anything?" Rae asked.

"No." Jake replied.

"We know who gave the orders. Lillian of course. And she's his daughter, so of course he won't hand her over. And what could anyone else in that pack have against me? I'll tell you who, no one. Only her and her dick of a father." Rae grumbled.

Kile laughed. Charlie fake cough laughed. Jake gave them both a look that said knock it off.

"Yes, but we have no proof. And the council will only act on evidence." Jake explained.

"So, we just basically sit and wait until she tries again and hope she gets caught?" Rae retorted.

"We're still investigating. And the council will stay on him to comply to their orders." Jake replie
