As Scott pushed open the door to the store, a wave of shock washed over him. The scene that unfolded before his eyes was beyond anything he could have imagined. Three men, filled with malice, were attempting to harm his Mate. She lay on the ground, tears streaming down her face, pleading for mercy. The sight of her disheveled clothes and the vulnerability she displayed made Scott's heart ache.

In that moment, Scott's shock transformed into a surge of protective instinct. He couldn't stand idly by while this injustice unfolded. With a deep breath, he summoned every ounce of courage within him and stepped forward.

The store itself mirrored the chaos of the situation. Shelves were knocked over, merchandise scattered across the floor, creating an atmosphere of disarray. The dimly lit space only added to the eerie ambiance, casting long shadows that danced on the walls.
